Fully Auto Crate Packer

 

A client contacted Recopak to design and manufacture a machine that would be able to introduce various sized milk bottle products via a conveyor into split lanes for the product to be then be packed and place into a milk crates.

Recopak took on the challenge and designed and built such a machine, introducing the milk crates underneath and product above they were able to make the crate packer function smoothly and without manual labour making the machine completely labour efficient.

Auto De-Palletiser

The RECOPAK range of de-palletisers offers a reduction in labour costs, increase your productivity
and most importantly eliminate any issues with occupational health and safety.

Our Fully Automatic De-Palletising solutions provide continuous operation for your de-palletising process.

Increasing the efficiency of your workplace and reducing the outgoings is the aim of any business and RECOPAK have your total de-palletising solutions.

A typical De-Palletising system operates by:

  • Automatically introducing containers via a pallet into the machine;
  • Lift the pallet into position;
  • Remove and stack a top layer sheet onto a layer sheet collection deck area;
  • Allow a sweeper arm to sweep the top layer of containers from the pallet onto the infeed accumulation conveyor,
  • Move the containers forward allowing them to be introduced to a single lane outfeed conveyor evenly;
  • Lower empty pallets to then exit via a gate allowing them to then be transferred and stacked into a pallet outfeed collection bay, awaiting removal by a forklift.

Hand De-Palletiser

Including a HAND DEPAL to a Fully Automatic Depal system is something most clients don’t consider, at RECOPAK we consider it to be a vital part of their production line. The simple reason is that you can transfer product containers onto the Hand Depal accumulation table that infeeds the production line at any time whilst the Auto Depal is in Service Mode, Inoperative or when you may be producing a non standard item.

A typical Hand De-Palletiser system operates by:

  • Accumulating product containers on a large infeed conveyor;
  • Move the product containers forward allowing them to be introduced to a single lane outfeed conveyor evenly;
  • Present the product containers to the production line via a single/multi lane infeed system.

Elevator / Lowerator

When you require to transfer product from one floor level to the next (either up or down) or you need to ensure that your product containers are free from contaminants then an Elevator/Lowerator Rinser is the solution.

Without using the Rinser we can easily transfer your product up or down to suit your production needs.

If you require to Rinse the product containers with either Air or Water then our Lowerator/Elevator Rinser systems can include Air or Water systems to blow/wash/rinse your product containers, ensuring they are totally free of any contaminants.

CAMERA INSPECTION – PRE WARMER – UV STERIZER 

With 3 parts to this section of the factory line RECOPAK required to also include some machinery by one of our partner companies – FbL.

RECOPAK designed and manufactured the first stage of the section with a Camera Inspection Station using a camera system to capture the image of the container as it passed through a high intensity light, if there were any imperfections on the container a finger reject system would eject the imperfect container to a waste area.

The second part to this section of the production line is a Pre Warmer which is used to heat the glass container to a set temperature to reduce the shock for when it is hot filled with product. This piece of equipment was supplied by one of our partner companies – FbL and installed / commissioned by RECOPAK.

The 3rd stage of this section of the factory line is a UV Sterilizer, designed and manufactured by RECOPAK. The purpose of the UV Sterilizer is to sterilize the glass containers after they have been pre warmed using high intensity UV Lamps, the glass containers pass through this UV system via a conveyor.

STEAM VACUUM CAPPING SYSTEM

RECOPAK required this section of machinery to be supplied by one of our partner companies – FbL.

Initially the caps are fed from a storage bin up along a magnetic belt and transferred via a gravity fed tunnel to the main area of the Capper.
This particular unit is capable of handling two different cap sizes.

The Steam Vacuum Capper is designed to incorporate steam over the area of the jar as well as the cap as it is securely enforced over the jar.
This ensures that there is no bacteria around the jar and cap as it placed into position as well as creating a vacuum when cooled down to indicate a tamper proof pop top to the lid.

This piece of equipment was supplied by one of our partner companies – FbL and installed / commissioned by RECOPAK.

CAMERA INSPECTION – HOT WASH – COOLING TUNNEL

With 3 parts to this section of the factory line RECOPAK required to also include some machinery by one of our partner companies – FbL.

RECOPAK designed and manufactured the first stage of this section with a Camera Inspection Station using a camera system to capture the image of the container as it passed through a high intensity light chamber, if there were any imperfections on the lid of the container (e.g lid not on correctly, damaged container etc etc) a finger reject system would eject the container to a waste area.

The second stage to this section of the production line is a Hot Wash System which was also designed and manufactured by RECOPAK.
This piece of machinery was designed and built to use HIGH PRESSURE Hot Water to be sprayed in and around the glass jar to wash any excess product from the jar and to prevent mould from being generated in and around the lid of the jar.

The 3rd stage of this section of the factory line is a Cooling Tunnel that was supplied by our partner company FbL. The purpose of the cooling tunnel is to slowly introduce a cooling temperature along the tunnel to allow product to be cooled down evenly without disturbing the integrity of the product and to food safety standard requirements.

Air Dryer

RECOPAK was asked to design and manufacture this specific piece of equipment for a client who required their product to be air dried prior to being labelled and after it came through a cooling tunnel process.

RECOPAK manufactured this particular Air Dryer using two separate motions of air movement thus allowing the product to be completely dry upon exiting. During the drying process AIR is forced over the area of the jar eliminating any excess water, moisture before presenting the jar to the labeller.

Machine operation:

  • To dry processed and full jars (in this clients case) via forced fan through AIR BLADES.

Prior to Air Dryer process, jars pass through a cooling tunnel after being filled, capped and hot washed, Jars then travel along a conveyor to be introduced to the Air Drying Unit. This Air Drying Unit was part of a complete factory installation that RECOPAK was proudly involved in.
